Augusta Quarry FAQs
Augusta Quarry is part of Fort Dickerson Park, just minutes from downtown Knoxville. Set your GPS to 560 Augusta Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920. Look for the PLUNJ mobile sauna near the quarry's waterfront.
Beginning November 5, we plan to be open Thursdays (5–8 PM), Fridays (3–8 PM), Saturdays (10 AM–8 PM), and Sundays (10 AM–5 PM). We may extend hours based on demand and offer additional sessions during holidays and school breaks. Check our booking calendar for the latest availability!
Approximately one hour. You're welcome to relax around the fire pit afterward, provided there's seating available for the next group.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, water, and warm clothes for after your session. We also recommend water shoes for entering and exiting the quarry. Since this is an outdoor experience, be sure to dress for the weather!
Unlike the temperature-controlled pool at our Knoxville studio, the quarry's water temperature changes naturally with the seasons. As winter approaches, expect increasingly colder water and a unique cold plunge experience!
We're planning to operate throughout the fall and winter, so cold weather is part of the experience! However, severe weather or unsafe conditions may require us to cancel or reschedule sessions. We'll notify affected guests if changes are necessary.
